Next Generation Holiday Parks (NGHP) have today announced the sale of their flagship property in Townsville.
Australian-based company Tasman Tourism will take ownership at BIG4 Rowes Bay Beachfront Holiday Park when the sale settles next month.
NGHP CEO Daniel Tilton said his company purchased the seaside property five years ago, as the first acquisition for his family-owned business.
“We have enjoyed everything about Rowes Bay,” he said. “It’s been a pleasure to watch the park grow, to meet many guests and work with wonderful people.”
Mr Tilton said it was a difficult decision to sell, but he was confident that Tasman Tourism would bring new life to the park.
“Tasman has extensive experience in the holiday park sector, with three other successful properties across Australia. They have a stable capital base and a long-term focus for the park,” he said.
“Tasman will continue to invest in the property and build it into a great tourism asset for the Townsville region.”
Mr Tilton thanked the park managers, staff and guests who have been part of Rowes Bay over the past five years.
“Operationally, most things will remain the same, with our fantastic managers Steve and Katrina continuing to run the park,” he said.
“Guests will not be affected in any way.”
